Brella will start 2017 off with a bang, loading up and heading off to sunny San Diego as a sponsor of Training Magazine’s 40th Annual Training Conference & Expo.
The premier event of the performance development industry, the conference runs January 30 through February 1. The organizers have packed the week with programming, ranging from keynote sessions with luminaries like Temple Grandin (author of The Autistic Brain), Piper Kerman (author of Orange is the New Black) and world famous speaker Ken Blanchard, to certificate programs and training sessions discussing the latest trends in learning and performance development. Brella Co-founder Mark Mallchok will host a special session exploring the power of first-person narratives in creating engaging digital training programs.
The Expo boasts an exhibitor’s hall with booths from 80 learning and performance companies (including Brella, who will be showcasing the use of VR in training!), and a Technology Test Kitchen, where leading experts will demonstrate the best ways to incorporate tech tools into training programs.
The highlight of the week is sure to be the Training Magazine’s annual Top 125 Awards program. This black tie event will recognize companies across industries with the most effective training and professional development programs. Brella’s Events team will co-produce the gala, designing, creating, and running the show’s creative elements, including all of the video and PowerPoint presentations.
“The companies being celebrated at the awards gala are the best and brightest of the training world,” said Mallchok. “It is an honor and a privilege for Brella to help Training Magazine recognize these organizations for their achievements.”
