New technology appears, and everyone says, “Ooooh, shiny.” But then there’s a lag before businesses learn how to use the tech. For example, the internet (born in the 1960s) first opened up in the 1980s, but didn’t begin to impact business until the 2000s.
The same thing is happening with mobile apps today. Hundreds of thousands of apps are out there for consumers, which means businesses will be finding ways to really leverage the platform in, oh … any minute now.
