Brella got sporty in 2014 and 2015. Last fall, Michael Tyler, owner of the basketball team Racine Storm, approached Brella Account Manager Diane Simon about broadcasting home games.

The Storm is part of the Premier Basketball League, a twelve-team league dedicated to developing young talent, while providing affordable entertainment for basketball fans. The PBL broadcasts through ESPN 3, Innova Sports TV, Kool TV, and Soul of the South.
The first broadcast went live on December 14th, for a home game streamed by Innova Sports. Alan Dennison, Diane Simon, and Ray Araldi bore witness to the Storm’s 104-87 victory over the Grand Rapids Cyclones. The crew followed up a week later, for the TV broadcast of Racine’s nail-biting 109-108 win over the Indianapolis Diesels. The Storm finished the 2015 season with a 10-5 win-loss record.
The 2015 PBL season ran through the end of March. Sports broadcasting is a new frontier for Brella, and we’re excited to bring the Storm.
