It was an evening full of sparkle and shine as Brella partnered with Meeting Professionals International’s Chicago Area Chapter (MPI-CAC) for their annual awards gala. The “A Sky Full of Stars” themed celebration took place on Monday, July 20th at Venue Six10. The 280 attendees enjoyed a picturesque view of downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan.
The glamorous affair honored MPI-CAC industry stars who have “made the past year so successful.” And since Brella donated countless services—from designing all print materials, animating the digital signage, creating five unique videos (which were shot at earlier MPI events and in the Brella green screen studio), to producing the evening awards show—the evening proved to be nothing short of dazzling. Over 20 Brellians worked to make this event a success with eight on-site staff from the Video and Event departments contributing to the smooth functioning of the evening.
“The whole event was fantastic,” said Cary Williams, Brella’s Manager of Event Operations and member of MPI-CAC’s gala committee. “Everyone from the Board President to the Emcee were all ecstatic.”
Former White House Director of Events, Laura Schwartz (the night’s emcee) knows a thing or two about throwing a fabulous bash for important people. So when she live-tweeted that Brella had the “big night” in “great shape,” we knew we must have done something right.
