Third Time’s the Charm: Joining Training Magazine in Orlando

2018 went out with a bang. An unprecedented wave of work crashed over us in the final quarter (first world problems, we know), with quick-turn deadlines and no margin for error. As we emerge, triumphant, into the New Year, we have just one thing to say:

We’re going to Disney World!

Our good friends at Training magazine have once again enlisted us to support their annual Conference and Expo, held this year at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Training professionals from around the world will spend the last week of February in the shadow of The Mouse, sharing their knowledge and experience (and a lot of fun!)

Our Video, Events, and Design teams will provide custom animations and presentation templates for plenary and speaker sessions. We will coordinate with other vendors (including returning partner AV Matters) to create the sleek, polished feel that Training has come to expect. A Brella Field Producer will be on-site, to ensure that the plenary sessions run smoothly, while one of our Presentation Specialists brushes up and integrates PowerPoint content.

As always, the crown jewel of the Conference will be the Top 125 Awards Gala. This year marks our third time co-producing this black-tie event. Brella designers and tech will create and run customized visual content, with our production team liaising with vendors, presenters, and musical guests The Blues Factor Band.

Brella co-founder Mark Mallchok will return to the Conference with an updated version of his presentation on VR production. As he notes, “VR is changing faster than most people realize. We look forward to speaking on the current state of this fast growing medium.”

On the Expo side, senior Brella staff will run VR demos and answer questions about the future of digital media. Co-founder and President Bernadette Burke advises “Never underestimate the transformative power of experiential learning. VR creates the kind of visceral experience that makes training stick.”
